Oh My God! I Married a Devil, written by Diana Morris is a powerful, insightful, and noteworthy book that captures the degradation, worthlessness, and self-hatred that many

abused women experience. This fictional portrayal is an effort by the author to keep the reality of domestic violence in the forefront of society’s mind. According to the national coalition against domestic violence, in the United States an average of 20 people are physically abused by intimate partners every minute. This equates to more than 10 million abuse victims annually. Domestic violence accounts for 15% of all violent crime. “I am convinced that it is past time for communities, churches, and organizations to speak up and support those who are victims of domestic violence,” Diana said.

This book challenges the reader to take an honest look at domestic violence and is written to inspire and encourage anyone who has been affected by an abusive relationship.
